My Notes
I mentioned earlier that you can still make progress without having to make any sacrifices that you don’t want to. This doesn’t mean you don’t have to put in the work.
Like anything in life, you need to put in the work to be successful.
In regard to this programme this work isn’t – forcing yourself to do torturous exercise you don’t enjoy for hours on end every day.
It doesn’t mean only eating chicken, rice, and broccoli.
It doesn’t mean you have to become a recluse and have no social life.
These are the sort of things people associate with fat loss, and being on a diet, that put them off even committing in the first place.
The work I am talking about is in taking the time to learn and apply the key principles that are essential for you to progress.
Taking the time to track your calories, learning how to use MyFitness Pal.
Hitting your step target on a daily basis, staying active.
Watching these videos, paying attention, writing notes, learning!
The purpose of this programme is to help you develop an understanding around nutrition and exercise so that you can achieve and manage your fat loss and body composition goals for the rest of your life.
And I promise you, you can make progress and create a lifestyle you enjoy that sustains your result long term, without doing exercise you dislike or cutting out your favourite foods.
But, as touched on in the previous video like with anything else, to develop that understanding takes an investment of time and effort.
In my opinion it is a worthy investment, one that is much less painful than the long term yo-yoing between diets that restrict you of your favourite foods, drain you physically and emotionally, that ultimately leave you back at square one and disappointed.
