The reason why it is important to track your progress on your training programmes is because it is the best indicator that you are getting stronger, fitter and building muscle.
If you are doing more reps than you used to be able to do or lifting a heavier weight for the same reps you did before, you know you are getting stronger. You are making progress.
As I mentioned in the video about your measurements, if they are going down, and you’re stronger, that means you have less fat now and more muscle! So you know you are losing fat. You know you are going to be looking more toned.
It’s just another indicator we can use to see how your body is changing, how you are progressing, and for you to know you are losing body fat, as well as making the progress you want with your training.
