My Notes
Taking progress pictures is a really useful tool to use to be able to review progress.
Because we see ourselves every single day in the mirror, even when you make a significant amount of progress it can be hard to recognise. By comparing pictures taken weeks apart, you can start to see the progress you have made.
As long as you aren’t manipulating them and are taking the pictures in consistent clothing and lighting, they don’t lie. When you look at them side by side it becomes really easy to see progress that perhaps before you wouldn’t have been aware of.
They are also great for helping you see how your body is starting to change composition and shape. You can see where you are toning up, getting leaner, losing a bit of fat off the hips etc. All things that just a number on the scales can’t give you.
So taking progress pictures at least once a month is recommended to really help you monitor your progress long term.
